I purchased this skillet from Ebay 2 months go and have used it expensively and it has been terrific. There are rules to use this type of cookware.Rules:
1. Use Nylon or Nylon coated metal utensils when cooking. (Nothing said in any instructions but it just makes sense,)
2. When you receive the skillet wash with hot water and no soap.
3. Lightly rub in a good quality oil such as Peanut or Olive the first time you use.
4. Preheating for about 3 to 5 minutes before adding the food to skillet.
5. NEVER use soap of any kind in washing afterwards. (Use only hot water AFTER the skillet has cooled down)
I believe this skillet will last many years if not abused. Abused cookware of any type will cause problems.
