Have I mentioned I love it?

This is a very nice sized spatula/Saute Spoon.

The purple is perfect not bright and gaudy, not pastel, just perfect. Sort of like a muted, deep purple, but not a light color if that makes any sense?

The handle is long and easy to manage. It feels sturdy enough that it won't break if stirring thick mixtures. I've had that happen with acrylic handles. It is a light colored wood and the handles on all the pieces are the same color/grain. They all match perfectly.

The silicone end is thick and very well made. It doesn't feel loose or as if it would pop off.

The spoon works great and you can scoop out a decent amount at a time. I had cooked a rice dish and 2 scoops with this spoon was more than enough for one large serving.

The difference between this Saute Spoon and the regular Spatula Spoon Le Creuset Revolution Silicone Spatula Spoon, Cassis is that one side is rounded out just a tad on the Saute Spoon. I bought all of the matching pieces and all of them are very well made. I love all of them.

To be honest, the only thing I am a little worried about is that the wooden handles do not seem to have any sort of laquer or finish on them. So that makes me think the wood might warp (from water exposure over time) and/or stain if they come in contact w/pasta sauce etc. I am being super careful with them though and hopefully that won't happen I wash and dry them right away. Other than that, (and even with that issue) I am very pleased with the whole set of utensils and do recommend them.

I wish they would make the large slotted spoon or any slotted spoon really, as well as a regular spatula/turner and a ladle in the Cassis color. They do make them in other colors not sure why not in Cassis. Out of all my shopping on Amazon, these are one of my most favorite purchases. The 4-For-3 Deal is great too!

UPDATE After being washed several times now, the handles look and feel dried out and much lighter in color. I dry them immediately after washing and I do not soak them. They look very "weathered."

This is wonderful. I use it all the time. I love the way it scrapes everything without wrecking any of my pans. Its really thick and durable. I love the purple in it. I've used it dozens of times and it has never faded or stained. Great product

I have looked everywhere for a spoon that had a flat end to stir sauces and this one was perfect! I was able to stir a really hot liquid (fudge) without it melting my spoon!

Comfortable and easy to use. Nice blade on the front.

Strange that it says dishwasher safe but the nondetachable handle is to be hand-washed. Consider this not dishwasher safe if you want the wood to last.
