It's nice looking and it's heavy gauge aluminum as described...probably a good non-stick surface but have no chance to try out as surprisingly it warped (one side is not touching the glass top stove) almost instantly with heat despite the thick metal. Multiple problems: oil and cooking only happens on the side that is in contact with the stove top, and the pan spins and will scratch the stove top surface over time (that I didn't have to face with since I returned it after this one try).

Mom was fussing because she loved her old beloved 7" pan, but it was worn and she couldn't find a replacement locally. I found this one to surprise her on mother's day and she loves it. I wanted a strong, heavy ,durable pain, mainly to cook meatballs in and wow this is it. It is a great pan. I made 2 huge batches of meatballs in no time at all. I was very pleased at how much this pan holds. My cast irons'are smaller and heavier so this works bettet. But with the handle lenght this is one large pan.
