Griddle works great. Small enough to store in our travel trailer but big enough to cook everything we need. First attempt at pancakes I had temp too high. It did burn all of them evenly though. No hot spots or cool spots. Adjusted temp and all is well. Would reccommend to others.

My expensive B & D quit cooking on the edges after a few of uses, plus the surface became VERY sticky. When I took the WB out of the box I was appalled by the cheapness and light weight of the product. Surprise...I have used it now for about a year (75-100 times). No sticky surface and still cooks to the VERY edge. Buy it!Best Deals for Reviews of Download West Bend 76225 10-by-18-Inch Electric Nonstick
Got this for my G/F about a year ago and it still works great. It cooks very evenly. Only pancakes show a slight color difference sometimes.
Easy to clean. You can throw the whole thing in the dishwasher, wow.
Highly recommended.

this griddle you cannot get an even temp on.....it either burns or doesn't cook the food.the heating element left a ring on the cookside....the good thing about it is you can wash it in the sink.we had an old WestBend that lasted for years and was great....sadly dissappointed in this one.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Reviews of Download West Bend 76225 10-by-18-Inch Electric Nonstick
West Bend GriddleIn 1964 I bought a West Bend Griddle (not a non stick). Made in America. Being in the military, my wife and I moved around a lot. Since weight was restricted when we moved we took with us the griddle and two pots. The griddle for breakfast and used as a stove for the pots for supper for beans, potatoes, etc. After 26 years of moving around I left the Service but I still used the griddle two to three times a week for nearly 50 years until 2011 when the control cracked. I called West Bend for a new one but was told it was not available. So in the trash it went thinking I could buy a new one, not so.
I searched S Alabama, SW Florida and SE Mississippi a West Bend not to be found. I still needed a griddle so I bought a Presto made in China, big mistake. The griddle heats up then cools off till what ever is cooking quits cooking, then heats again, not good. Trashed again.
I found this West Bend griddle on line and was happy to pay $37.04. Another mistake. The griddle and control is made
in China. It works just like the Presto griddle i.e. Griddle set to 300F, actual temp as read with a calibrated thermometer 150F cools to 100F. Griddle set to 375F actual temp 225F cools to 125F. Set 400F actual 325F cools to 225F.
When you pick the griddle up the grease tray falls out.
You can only imagine how disappointed I am that I did not receive another quality griddle Made in America.
