I do not recommend this pot. The product is very cheaply made. It arrived with some of the finish already scratched off. I returned it for a full refund.

I was not sure because of the customer giving it one star, but I decided to take a chance and have not regretted it yet. I had gone overboard for July by ordering six 1-1/7-pound lobsters, two 1=1/2-pound lobsters, and four pounds of live steamers. I did have an old white stockpot but I wanted something more eye-catching and chose this 19-quart pot with the neat red lobster artwork. When it arrived, I was relieved it did not weigh very much, and saw no blemishes anywhere on it. It easily handled three lobsters at a time. It was good I had a rack from my NuWave oven that was a perfect fit so I could place my clams on it for steaming. I was able to clean it quite easily even though my sink is rather small, and it sits on top of my microwave for now until I clear out the bottom shelf of both the old stockpot and the NuWave oven. Then I will place my new pot there for next year's July. I see no reason why anyone needing a large pot, but doesn't need an even-bigger one. It seems to be well made. As for durability, that will take time to answer that, but I am not going to use it all that much. It fits my needs, fits my front burner, is easy to lift up after taking out most of the water, and looks great.

I prefer my lobstah steamed and this doesn't include a steamer tray. However, it IS as advertised with a cute lobster picture. And its HUGE.. easily 3-4 lobsters of average size could fit in there at once and be steamed up in no time!

Comes in handy when those special holidays come around and you need to prepare more than your fair share of something. I wish that it came with a steamer basket though.
