It was a gift and I spoke with my dad and he said it was easy to use and loved it. He makes BBQ Sauce (Big B's) and when he does shows where he has samples of meatballs in his sauce he needs the temp right. So he said works great!

This IR thermometer is small, works well, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it, particularly for those in need of something to monitor the heat when pan-frying food in a shallow amount of oil.

I'm chef and,I got this infrared thermometer because I need constantly take temperature for a la carte log..

I was thinking the infrared thermometer would be faster..and easier for me..since I need to take temps every 30mint..during service time.

I really dont recommend at all..reason why is because is very inaccurate!and as soon I got the thermometer the battery lasted me

like 5 days...i use my regular Thermistors next to the infrared, and the temps are 20F or 30F less than my thermistors ...really sucks..

I felt not save using it.. I SPENT MONEY FOR NO REASON!!! REALLY BAD PURCHASE..INACCURATE TEMPERATURES!!!
