I tried a stainless skillet on my induction cooktop, but decided cooling it to clean before cooking eggs after bacon was a pain. This pan was/is great on my cooktop. I don't fry food regularly, and think that the lower temp on induction will mean that this nonstick surface will last quite a while. The surface on my pre-induction frypan(8 yrs old) was in perfect shape. I am confident this pan will last as long or longer.

I've had 2 of these pans (the 12in) for over 4 years (and one of the 10in ones). They revolutionized my cooking. The nonstick finish is as great as the day I bought it. I will never buy any other kind of non-stick pan. They may not come with a celebrity endorsement, but they sure get mine. They get constant use, but you'd never know it.
