I love this pan! I use it more than any other pan that I own. It is the perfect size for preparing many dinners. I have always loved using a 12" skillet for family meals. I haven't used it once since purchasing this pan. I love that it has a lid and doesn't have a long handle that I am moving around while using other burners. I will be purchasing another as back up as we all know that non-stick is not forever.

Bought this pan at Costco for something under 25 bucks. Am a long time user/fan of this company's skillets and this pan looked a real winner. Love the concept of hybridizing a skillet with a wok with a fiesta pan with a chicken fryer with a dutch oven. Love that concept! Problem being here, is that those darned handles get too hot. There isn't enough silicone covering the metal, and even what silicone that is there, doesn't stay cool enough. It's a real shame too, because the idea was stellar.

20 years ago, Caphalon introduced their "everyday pan" which was *the* perfect pan for anything which needed to start on the stovetop and finish in the oven: paella, baked omlets, frittata, etc. We loved ours to death. Sadly, Caphalon changed the design of their everyday pan back in '95, squashing it and making it useless.

Now, Tramontina has introduced their version, which is almost identical to the original perfect Everyday Pan. We can make paella at home again! It also works as a wok if you don't have one.

Buy one, you need it. I bought two, in case it gets discontinued again.

I bought this pan about a year ago and have enjoyed it immensely. I use it in place of a wok, for everyday meals and for soups. It heats evenly and washes out even difficult sticky items easily. I liked it sooooo much that I'm buying one for each of my three adult children. I gave them a vote and they all picked the same pan which says loads about it.
