We use this griddle nearly every day. It's spacious enough for 6 sausage links (the big ones you get at Whole Foods, not those little breakfast ones) and 6 eggs, or you get can 4 good-sized pancakes on it. We like this griddle so much that when my daughter moved into her own apartment, we bought one for her too.
I don't cook big meats on it. No steaks, or fish. We grill those. But almost all our breakfasts are cooked on it.
Only one minor little gotcha--the silver handles aren't as stable as I'd like. They're attached by very small screws, one screw per side. Depending on how much you use it, you may have to tighten them every month or so. Make sure you have a very small flat-head screwdriver handy.
Even with this minor inconvenience this is a great griddle. We really give it a workout.

I bought this for my sister because I own one & love it! It truly is nonstick and is easy to clean. I have only used the sear spot a.few times and it works good! I use a very light cooking oil applied with a paper towel. I have not tried cooking spray because in the past have found it to build up a sticky residue. Not sure if it would on this surface. The drip tray is roomy and easy to remove. I have no complaints with this product! I love it for making big breakfasts for my granddaughters.

I bought this griddle because it is ceramic coated, and I didn't like the idea that the teflon coating on our previous griddle was wearing off and quite possibly assimilating into the food we ate. We've used the griddle several times, and it seems to be working fine. No problems so far. When I installed the plastic drip tray, I mistakenly slid it between the griddle and the slots provided for it, so when it heated up, part of the tray melted onto the bottom of the griddle. No problem; my fault, I'll call the 800 number provided on the accompanying manual and order a new drip tray. WRONG. If you buy this griddle and need a replacement part, don't waste your time calling the 800 number or going to any of the websites you're told to go to during the recording you'll hear over and over again. has never heard of this grill or any of its parts. One other website has heard of the grill, but the drip tray (the only replacement part it ever carried) is no longer available. I listened to the recording for 45 minutes trying every suggestion the droning voice offered, and getting nothing but practice. I never did speak to a human, despite being told how important my call was to them. Right. Fingernails on a chalkboard would have been a refreshing change. IF you should need a replacement part, go directly to You won't be able to order the part there either, but at least you have a phone number (1.800.223.8533) to call and a way to contact them (601 Rayovac Dr., Madison, WI 53711 if you want to write to the president of the company). I used the form provided to e-mail my first message. It doesn't go directly to the correct department to address my concern, but whoever received and read it sent it on, and 24 hours later we received a phone call from someone who said they are sending us a new drip tray. (He also said, "I don't know who you've been talking to ..." Um ... duh ...) I'm 65 years old and have dealt with a lot of so-called customer services, and this was right up there with the worst of them. Enjoy the griddle ... don't melt the drip tray.

I like the size and the hot zone element. But, I don't like the temperature control. It only has a few fixed settings which I find do not work. I find that the settings provide a heat which is either too hot or too cold for what I am cooking. I prefer a dial control so I can adjust the heat to exactly what I need not a pre-set temperature which provides only a wide range between available temperature settings.
