I love Cuisinart Tri-Ply and have just about every size and shape. I was lucky enough to pick this one up in a gold box deal for $29.00. It arrived the next day, in time for breakfast, and is a keeper. The heat is even, it cleaned easily, and nestles nicely into my other skillets. I love the look of the pan too, clean lines and stainless curves that make an omelet effortless. What is not to like?

I just ditched, yet again, another "green non-stick" skillet that was absolutely NOT durable. The non-stick wore off in a matter of a few months.
This pan, yes, you need oil or butter, but it's absolutely great for omelets and it has high enough sides to do small sautes (onions, mushrooms.) The tri-ply makes for even heating. You can't beat this pan for the price--I've had much worse and paid a lot more. You will need a potholder or mitt for the handle, but that's normal with this kind of pan. And yes, you can finish your fish or other dishes in the oven as it's oven-proof. The handle is angled up for a better, more ergonomic grip.
You will need MORE butter or oil for omelets than if you use a non stick pan. That is a downside. I made my usual omelet and two observations; it heats fast and holds heat (tri ply) so my usual fast-and-hot method of a French omelet had to be adjusted and I put in a pat of butter, thought it was too much, dumped out half the melted butter after the foam subsided and it was not enough to keep the omelet moving. So this pan will add calories to your sautes and omelets. But as a pan, it's very, very well made.

I had ordered and have been using some other Cuisinart pans. When I saw this skillet, I ordered one for me and one for a present. I am enjoying it because I am able to prepare and cook foods easily and clean up is not a problem. Soak a little while and then use a cleaning pad. Food comes right out. Clean up is not a problem and the skillet looks good again!

I was so excited to get a Cuisinart skillet. I have wanted one for years but felt they were to expensive. I got this through the black Friday deals with Amazon. I used it immediately and then I spent more time cleaning the thing than I did using it to cook with. I have since used it twice , thinking I had done something wrong the first time, and the results are the same. I have to use a LOT of butter or cooking spray. I have to scrub the thing to get it clean. However, I have to admit it cooks evenly and well. Not sure I will be buying anymore Cuisinart products.
