I was a little disappointed to see that the pan is actually a rust color, instead of red, however the color was a minor issue for me. The bigger issues that I have with the pan have to do with cooking in it. After just a few uses, I noticed that there was a dark ring in the bottom of the pan, caused by the heating coil. The dark ring doesn't go away, which detracts from the beauty of having a rusty colored electric frying pan instead of the typical black one that other manufacturers sell. You should also be aware that the pan heats unevenly. Food sitting on the coils cook more quickly, so if you don't continually stir the food, you end up burned food near the coils. Beyond it's flaws, the pan (including handles and temperature control/power cord) and glass cover/knob feel sturdy, and it's Pfoa-free. I don't think I'd buy it again, unless they can improve the heating coil issues.

It was broken when I received it. It was even in the original packaging plus inside another box with packing. I hate having to return items, it is such a huge hassle for me.

First one I bought, it would not maintain heat, goes up to set temp., then no heat for way too long, then heats again. 45 mins to cook bacon and eggs and temp set on 375 for scrambled eggs. Amazon returns are great as well as replacement. Same problem with second one, both are going back tomorrow. Nice looking but not what I bought it for.
