Ordered 1 for my new Lodge carbon steel pans for $5.93. Needed 2 more so I followed the link in my order history back to this product page, but by the time I placed the 2nd order, Amazon had jacked the price up to $20+. I didn't notice until I got my shipping notice so Ichose to return them. I then proceeded to re-order them for $5.75 from this product page.

I'll take my fair share of the blame for not paying close enough attention while ordering but Amazon should be ashamed of themselves for playing such underhanded games with pricing.
Another interesting note. The item I received, which I ordered from this page, was the 6.5 inch sleeve. Not 13.8 inches as described here.

A few months ago, I purchased three different sizes of the Paderno carbon steel skillet. After seasoning with flax seed oil, I had one of the best nonstick skillets you can have. One problem, the weight of the skillet soon made the thin curved handle a little uncomfortable on your hands. The silicone sleeve solved the problem. Now I have one of the best nonstick skillets you can have and it is comfortable. Be sure you clean the nonstick seasoning in the right way, ie. do not use detergent. Clean by using hot water and a plastic brush. Heat the skillet and add a few drops of oil, and wipe out with paper towel. Do not cook with acidic foods ie. lemon, vinegar, etc. it will affect the nonstick properties of the seasoned skillet. Put the finishing touch to your carbon steel skillet, get the silicone sleeve.

They slide back and forth a little bit, BUT it's a minor issue (they are supposed to be removable without being a pain in the butt to take off, after all). Overall a great and extremely useful purchase! Only you can prevent burns while cooking.

I installed this on my World Cuisine (Paderno) carbon steel fry pan A4171430. The sleeve went on loosely but snaps into place at the end. The sleeve is loose so the pan is a bit wobbly but it does stay on the handle OK. A bit annoying but more convenient than wrapping a towel around the handle.
