I decided to replace my 40 year old ReverveWare cooking ware. After careful consideration I decided on Emeril AllClad, in part because of the weight of the pots and pans and the appearance, in addition to the fact that it was priced so attractively. After using it for 2 months I have been very, very happy with it. It cleans up well, although you do have to use a bit of "elbow grease" at times. (I don't mind this because I just don't want to use the teflon pans any longer because of the fact that the particles chip off into your food over time.) I am very happy with this product. I just received the 8 quart stockpot as a Mother's Day gift and used it for the first time yesterday. It is AWESOME and kept the stock at a perfect simmer for 5 hours, which hasn't been my experience with cheaper stockpots. Very good value for the money and I love the Customer service at Amazon. As another reviewer has pointed out here, this All Clad Emeril is very much lighter in construction than regular All Clad or even All Clad Emerilware of yore. Some years ago I ordered an Emeril All Clad cook set, all items have heft and each has a good heavy base. I suppose costs have skyrocketed in stainless manufacture, but the lightness of this pot came as a surprise to me even after reading the other reviewer's comment about it. Nonetheless, this is a big stockpot, a lot of metal, and it does just what I want it to do. In this pot, finally, when 19" spaghetti is introduced to the boil it stands on end without my assistance. That's enough for me. Thanks, Emeril and thanks, All Clad.

We use this pan everyday. Nice thick bottom for even heat and the lid has strainer holes that can be aligned with the pouring spouts on each side of the pan. The pouring spouts are not really visible in the picture but are really handy.

I was hesitant to buy anything with the Emeril name attached. First, because I think he's over-hyped (or was). And second, because I thought I'd pay a premium for the name. I was wrong on both counts. His pots are among the least expensive (cheapest?) around. And they were thoughtfully designed. There are markings on the inside to let you know exactly how much liquid you have put in. They have pour spouts on two sides, enabling you to drain whatever you have cooked up easily, whether you are right or left-handed. The glass lid allows you to see what's cooking (a real bonus if, like me, you have an inquisitive toddler). I have an induction cook top, and they work just fine (they'll also work well if you cook on a standard electric or gas cook top, too). I own both the stockpot and the 3-quart model. I will soon own the 1-quart pot, as well. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about these fine products.
