I actually bought this lid for use with another brand of cookware. It's perfect pyrex glass, stainless steel screw holding the knob on, and a brass screw-socket in the plastic knob to keep the knob from loosening. (But don't put a metal screw in the microwave...)

Berndes pans are European/centimeter sized, so this lid isn't really 9-1/2 inches, it's really 24 cm. I bought it for my Mauviel 6 quart stew-pan, and it also fits really well on my 9.5 inch (also really 24 centimeter) Sitram skillet.

Their lids have a plastic handle. And they melt, totally, if (foolishly) used in the microwave. And the whole thing then comes apart. Now I have to hope to find a replacement part. They are not constructed securely to begin with.....

Very high quality lid. I bought this to go with the Berndes non stick pan. It was delivered in a very timely manner and thankfully unbroken. Thank you Amazon for your fast free delivery, very fare price and no sales tax.

I have been using it for quite awhile and no problems. The non stick is holding up very well on the pan. A nice size lid/pan. Not too big or small for a single person cooker.

This Berndes Tradition glass lid is the perfect lid: Heavy, thick, tempered, Pyrex glass that is easy to see thru, clean, or use on any 9 1/2 inch pan. Dishwasher safe. Not easy to find Tradition accessories, so grab it! Recommended!
