This is a great biscuit pan. I've made lots of biscuits by the old method of rolling them out and cutting them with a biscuit cutter and putting them in a pan. However, using a buscuit pan cuts the time down by half. I put some bacon grease in the sections and put it in the oven to get hot when I turn the oven on. By the time the oven is preheaed, I have my batter ready. I simply use the large size ice cream scoop and scoop out my batter into the sizzling hot pan, brush the tops with a little melted butter and back into the oven. The bottoms an sides come out crusty.....just the way we like them.
The only reason that I did not give this a 5 star rating is because there are no holes for hanging. I have my cast iron hanging on a wall of our log house and I would like to add this to the collection. If 2 holes were drilled, I could attach a wire and hang it, too.
