Earth pans are the best pans I have ever used and even better is that they are a natural product that does not out gas into your food. I have been using Earth Pans for several months now and will never go back to other non-stick pans. I recommend using wooden or silicone utensils as with all nonstick pans. Most of the time I wash my pans in the dishwasher with no problem.
If you care about what you take into your body and you want non-stick these pans are the way to go and the cost is affordable as well.

The skillet non stick coating works well. Clean up is simple. The skillet is however very thin on the bottom and without any sort of heat insulator/spreader. The very thin skillet transfers heat from the burner in localized areas of the skillet instead of heating the entire bottom. Tough to cook food without burning it. Reminds me of a cheap thin non stick skillet from a dollar store. Would not purchase again.Best Deals for Best Download Earth Pan 12 Skillet Deals
This worked very well at first but quickly lost its non stick properties, even though I followed the use and care instructions completely. Do not waste your money on this product. My tried and true cast iron skillet works much better for everyday use, and I use a conventional nonstick crepe pan for particularly delicate items.Honest reviews on Best Download Earth Pan 12 Skillet Deals
At first I really liked this pan, especially the fact that it is healthier than teflon. It worked well for about 2 months and then everything started to stick!. I use it almost every day, but did not abuse it. I took care of it as I would any Non-stick pan, it just did not hold up. Mine is not flaking as others have mentioned. I would not buy one again and would not recommend this product either.

When I purchased this pan I was on no particular quest to find "green" technology. I was looking to replace an old Teflon pan that I had been doing without for sometime by just using simple stainless steel cookware. However, I was looking to reduce the amount of oil used when cooking for health reasons and decided to go look for a new non-stick pan. This one sounded like a solid technology in that it allowed for higher heats than Teflon and really has a very impressive finish. I bought the pan home and it was absolutely wonderful! Then a few weeks went by and my satisfaction dropped severely. I have followed all the precautionary instructions regarding how to clean and what sort of utensils to use (these instructions are not drastically different from caring for a Teflon pan) and I certainly never machine-washed the product. Nonetheless, after a few weeks or so almost everything I cooked in the pan began sticking. There seems to be particular spots that have formed on the pan (which you cannot see) that are less non-stick than others. There are particular "stick spots" where almost any food will certainly stick. The most frustrating feature, overall, is that I now find that I have to use about the same amount if not more oil in my cooking to prevent sticking with this pan as compared to plain stainless steel. I have adopted a new slogan for the Earth Pan in my home: "Non-stick, and by Non-stick we mean slightly less adhesive than your average scotch tape."If you are not on board with the current "Green" hysteria, and you insist on some sort of non-stick pan, I suggest Teflon. However, I am not really that big of a fan of Teflon overall, so honestly I would suggest going with something more like cast iron.
If you are on board with the current "Green" trend, than I would suggest trying cast iron. Most of these ceramics and things that you will try (from what I have read) are not going to perform well enough to warrant purchasing a non-stick pan. Stainless steel works fine other than the fact that you have to use a lot of oil/other lipid to avoid sticking. If you are trying to reduce that, get a cast iron pan. They take some time to build up their coating and require some maintenance and care (i.e. seasoning the pan, etc), but once you have had one around a little while I am certain that you will never look back.
Whatever you do, do not waste your time with this particular product.
