I got two pans, one larger than the other. I'm a good cook and use proper techniques, however these pans are very difficult to clean. I was hoping these would last a while, but it's easier to clean up when I use my cast iron pans rather than these.

I think I'll be giving this away to one of the kids. Used it tonite to fry up a couple of burgers and I'll tell you, it took me quite a while and not a little elbow grease to clean it using a nylon scouring pad. Really expected easier clean-up. It does sit evenly on my rangetop (ceramic).

Found this little skillet to be quite the easy cooker. Very even heat distributin and even cooking with no significant spattering due to hot spots (4 hamburger patties). The cooking surface is slick to the touch and cleaned easily with mild dish soap and wiped dry. Buy this skillet and you will be pleased. We will buy the 12"and a covered pan soon.

I am rather confused by the bad reviews. This pan has superb heat distribution. It looks beautiful hanging and performs like a professional piece of cookware. It is not ceramic or non-stick coated. The instructions direct you to add a teaspoon of oil before cooking the first time. Some people do not realize that hard anodized requires seasoning just like cast iron. It was wipe and go on everything I cooked. I even baked an Alfredo pasta topped with cheese and had super easy release with a nylon spatula. When cooking, you never place food in a cold pan.

Great little pan, I can make a dish for myself (I live alone) and use it to saute veggies for other things :)
