We ordered this grill to cook breakfast on the weekends. My husband was tired of having to cook multiple batches of pancakes, french toast, bacon, hashbrowns, etc. in a medium cast iron fry pan. After researching the numerous grill/girddles available for sale, we decided to purchase this one because it seemed to offer the most performace at a reasonable price.

Everything we've cooked on this grill has turned out better than we'd hoped for...in fact, it has cook our foods very well. The grill has no cold/hot spots to mention. It's evenly heated throughout. The manual has some recipes included and it also has the recommended cooking time/temp chart that we found handy at first. Experience has taught us to lower the heat from the recommended settings, which appear to be on the higher side.

After cooking so many meals (from breakfast foods to whole fish and everything in between), we are very satisified with the performance of this grill.

I did mention that nothing's perfect in my title for this review. The only reason we are not giving this grill 5 Stars is because of two reasons.

1. The grease/oil drip holes located at one edge of the grill let fluids drop through without any problem; however, the drip tray doesn't catch all of the grease/oil. Some of it ends up on the bottom of the cradle below the drip tray.

2. Under the drip tray are tiny plastic knubs that support the tray itself. After using the grill a few times, I noticed those knubs melted slightly.

To sum it all up, I give this grill 5 Stars for cooking performance and 4 Stars for the two above reasons. I would give this grill 4 ½ Stars overall, but Amazon doesn't let me, so I give it 4 Stars (all things considered). Most of all, I highly recommend this product and I would definitely purchase it again.

I have been using my Grill/Griddle regularly since it was purchased and I am very pleased with it's performance. I really like the temperature control unlike using my foreman grill. It is great for grilling everything with ample room. It's fits in my Kitchen Aid dishwasher but it is so easy to clean that it usually doesnt get to the dishwasher. I shopped all the brands before buying and found this one to be the most convenient and versatile.

After using this product twice I was extremly disapointed.

The drip tray does not catch all the dripping from frying bacon.

The grease ends up all over the counter and melting the base unit that the drip tray fits in. You would think Wolfgang Puck would try this product under all conditions to make sure it is enginered corectly. My counters are level so this is not an issue. I am a dissatisfied customer.

First of all, this is a really big grill and it's heavy. Don't buy it if you are looking for a grill you can use indoors or move outdoors a lot because it is quite large. If you have the counterspace, and you like to grill indoors, I think you will love it !!

It cooks really fast, and with the changeable grill surface, you can use it for pancakes, bacon and eggs for a crowd, or steaks and fish for a family. It's easy to clean and it's been quite reliable so far.

I love the versatility and the fact that you don't have to cook a meal in 3 separate pans. You can probably cook the whole protein portion of your meal on this grill at one time, unless you are cooking for more than 6 people.

The other nice thing is that you can put this out on a table with the hot food prepared, and let your guests serve themselves. It works like a hotplate as well, which is great !

I highly recommend this product and all of Wolfgang's products.

I bought this product with the intention to grill meat (chicken, pork, beef, sausage). However, this grill does a poor job when cooking slices 1/2 inch or thicker. There is a workaround to this problem which is mentioned below.

Positives: The grill has a lot of real estate and you can cook a good amount of any type of food. The grill is dishwasher safe, so give it a wipe and toss it in the dishwasher. Works great for Bacon, Pancakes, Eggs, Shrimp and Fish.

Negatives: Doesn't cook thicker slices of meat well, but this can be fixed if you cover the meat with a Pyrex bakeware or some other cover of your choosing. If the product had come with a cover, this would not have been much of a problem.

If you don't eat meat, but are fond of breakfast, this is a great grill. The grill side is useful for Fish and shrimp, but getting the pink out of chicken makes for a challenge (thicker slices).
