This pan rack has solved an age old problem for me. What do you do with all those frypans of different sizes to keep them handy and not hurting the non-stick finish? GET THIS RACK! I have 8 fry pans of various sizes and materials and they all fit in this rack. From 12" to 6" and I don't have to pick up all of them to get the one on the bottom. I nest two pans together and they fit in the spaces in the rack. I have heavy ScanPans and non-stick Rachel Ray pans and they all "live" happily together now with no damage to the finishes. I've been looking at several different organizational racks to solve this problem and have found this is the most economical and best solution to this problem. Highly recommend, sturdy and well made.

I had a small kitchen like most NYers and this was a perfect solution to hold all my pans! I love it and it is so handy and pretty sturdy (my pans weren't that light). I actually got a pot rack in my new kitchen (still small) so I no longer need it but definitely recommend it if you're thinking about it!

We have this pan rack on the counter beside our gas stove. Problem is, if you set, say, a 10" a pan into one of the slots, the pan's rim sticks out through through the bottom of the rack and rests on the counter. One tap on the pan's handle and it rolls over onto its side. Wall mounting the rack would solve the problem, but that's not an option here.

I finally went to the hardware store and bought four rubber cylinders that are meant to cover the tips of round table legs. One at each corner of the pan rack and voila, problem solved. The rack is about 2 inches higher, and even our large pan with a second 'helper' handle fits securely, resting all of its weight on the rack. Our course, one good shove and the whole assembly would collapse. Happily that hasn't happened, but it certainly have been helpful if Rubbermaid had simply built its rack a bit higher off the ground.

Our cabinets no longer cause us anxiety. This rack is really only good for frying pans and lids. I wish it had a thicker slot for a sauce pan.
