I like the flat heavy base of this skillet. It seems to work well with the flat glass top electric stove that I have. Round bottomed skillets don't heat as evenly as this flat bottomed skillet. Clean up is a breeze.

This pan is the answer to the non-stick peel off in your food dilemma. It heats evenly, cooks without sticking, browns food nicely, and just about cleans itself with soap and water!

I wanted to find a skillet that was not cheap and peeling with the non-stick surface fast AND stainless steel [since I don't use aluminum]

This is the "IT" skillet for eggs. The ceramic finish releases easily.

Don't turn the temperature up to high to cook eggs and a tip I read long ago ---use a drop or two of Tabasco to make the eggs hold together betterplus, any other seasonings---then, wash easily and use again the next A.M.

Great invention by the Germans once again!

I bought it because the description said it was made in Germany (and for the price it should have been!), but it is made in China. It is heavier than most department store skillets (that should be a good thing). The third time I used this skillet a brownish area started to appear on the non-stick surface -it wouldn't come off with normal scrubbing, and it grew each time I used the skillet. I finally quit using it. Can't say I'd recommend this item even at a much reduced price.

Light and slippery! I love the stainless and ceramic combination. So many ceramic pans are aluminum. Trying to detox from aluminum, so this was a great find. I have a few others in different sizes. Highly recommend!
