Must have if you only have stainless steel pans at home. I use it every day to fry egg, sausage, bacon and crepe since I only have All-Clad stainless pans and those are hard to clean after frying Vietnamese crepe. Got my 10.25" one can be found at Crate and Barrel or Sur La Table for around $30.I am thrilled with the quality (weight & materials) of the crepe pans. I gave 3 as gifts this year & glowed with happiness as they were unwrapped before me.
