I also bought 3 other pots/pans. I'm happy to report that in 60 years of my own food prep, these are **by far** the best cookware units I've ever had. Pricey, but well worth it! I also want to comment on difficulty others have posted about removing the handles: I had trouble too when I tried to pull them straight out. What you need to do is as follows: with the handle pointing toward you, 1) slide the red latch toward you and then 2) while holding the latch in this position, simply lift the handle up: if this works like it did on mine, the handles will come very off easily; otherwise you can be very frustrated. this really is the best non stick pan out there... i've tried teflon, green pans, etc etc... while they all work initially, over time they lose their coating and starts sticking...these are heavy but absolutely nothing sticks to them NOTHING.
