Couldn't stand my old wooden spoons anymore, knowing they were soaking up and retaining icky stuff. Tried some grocery-store offerings of made of a hard white plastic or melamine, but they stained when I used them to stir a pitcher of tea. These spoons don't stain, they don't melt or get hot if you leave them in a skillet or pot, and they don't get all raggedy along the edge from scraping a skillet. They're as good as I hoped they'd be.

Nice color, and not too heavy. But there was a very sharp edge on the seam where the spoons were made. Also, not sure where the "France" comes from -the tags said made in China.

These are pretty nice. They are very sturdy. I tried some of those silicone covered mixing spoons and broke three of them.

The only request I would have for the manufacturer is to design the shape the same as that of the wooden mixing spoons. OK, one more request, can you please make some that are black, white or tan.

Definitely 5 stars because these do what they are designed to do and I believe they will last a long time.

Pros: Long and very sturdy

Wanted a Long spoon for stirring an extra large pot I use all the time, that wasn't wooden and that wouldn't show food stains.

Supposedly they don't stain, but just to be sure, I bought the pretty raspberry, because everything red stains. Also, can throw in the dishwasher unlike wooden spoons and is safer and sturdier than the long melamine spoon that broke.
