This is the perfect skillet for a small portion. You don't have to heat the stove, it's quick and very compact. Works very well and just the right size for one person. It's also great for keeping snacks warm durring a party. Item arrived in perfect condition and eariler than promised. I highly recommend this seller.

I like this skillet because you can control the temperature instead of just on and off and it has a lid. Many do not have these features. The price was right and reasonable for what I was purchasing. I recommend this skillet whether you're a family and just want to make food for one person, or for a single person who doesn't need a big ol' thing to cook in. i purchased it for my widowed Mom and it was just the right size.

I would rate this product at the lowest end of the scale. I've owned several electric skillets as I travel for a living and like to have the option to prepare food when I need to. On the fourth time using this item the glass top cracked as soon as it became hot. Additionally, the quality of the non-stick surface is very poor, it looks to be only a paint on surface. Everything sticks! The handle is also a pain to get on and off, especially if the pan has been heated. The size is ideal but the quality is poor so I recommend that you pass.

As another has mentioned, the temperature control on this unit is poor. It runs full-blast, shuts down, and then runs full-on again. The metal is thin and there is not enough metal to maintain latent heat in order to keep a good, consistent temperature.

Overall, the construction is poor, edges are rough, and the cord far too short. I wanted a small "one burger" grill and received this as a gift. I will donate it to charity.

As someone else mentioned, the lid is the best thing about the unit.
