I have four of these pans. One of them simply never worked right from the start. The other three were great. Things always stick in this one pan even though I treated it before I used it as directed. Eggs cling to the bottom of the pan & even though I use oil or spray oil on the pan, they stick horribly. I contacted Cusinart about the life-time warranty & asked for a replacement. They finally responded after two months of my emailing them with requests, & they stated that I would have to mail the item to them & enclose a check for an addional amount for them to mail me back the item if they determined that the defect was my fault. I couldn't believe this. The mailings would have cost me over $21more than 3/4 of the cost of a new pan. With that said, I wanted a new consumer of this product to beware of the terrible treatment which I felt as a good consumer.

I bought the 10" and 12" pans and was thrilled when we started using them. They worked great, cleaned easily and heated evenly. We were careful in the cleaning and care of these pans, hoping they'd last us a long time. Totally disappointed! The 10" pan started sticking to everything. It won't come clean now and no matter how much oil or Pam we use, it won't keep things from sticking. The 12" pan warped to where it won't sit flat, keeping it from heating evenly. I contacted Cuisinart about both pans and was told the 10" isn't covered under warranty. The 12" pan is covered, but they must evaluate it first. The customer service agent told me to ship the pan to them, at my own expense (it's heavy!!), including a check for $7.00 for THEIR handling. WHAT?? Why am I paying them to evaluate their defective product??? She said IF they decided to replace the pan I would be sent a new one. The entire process can take 4-6 weeks. So in the meantime I'm supposed to go without a pan?? The 10" can't be used! I told her forget it. I'm going to find another brand of pan, hopefully one that lasts AND has good customer service if needed. Don't think we'll be buying any more Cuisinart products!Best Deals for Cheap Download Cuisinart Greenware Aluminum Eco-Friendly Nonstick
I used the 12" Cuisinart Greenware skillet (GW22-30H) for approximately 6 months with reasonable satisfaction. The coating was not as "nonstick" as other pans that I have used, as it was not easy to get eggs to slide around on the surface even upon the very first use. Liberal use of cooking spray, butter, or oil is required with this pan. However, this is not what warranted the single-star rating. After 6 months of cooking with it over a gas range, the pan was still pristine,* and I moved to a new apartment with an electric-coil-type stove. I added water to the pan (~1"), turned on the heat, and added 5 sausage links. After cooking (at a low boil) and cleaning the pan, a circle was clearly visible where the nonstick coating had been completely destroyed/removed -the circle corresponding to the location of the electric coil underneath. In addition, discoloring in the locations where the 5 sausage links had cooked were also visible. This baffled me, because the water and meat should have absorbed the heat of the pan rapidly enough to prevent damage to the surface.
Prior to this incident, drying the pan was a cinch; the water simply beaded up and slid off of the nonstick surface with ease. Now, the water "wets" the surface inside the damaged circular region, and beads up outside of it where the nonstick coating remains intact.
The skillet is now completely useless. Worst of all, I probably ingested a great deal of the plastic coating. I am currently awaiting a response to see if I can get in-store credit for this $80 skillet. I would not want a free replacement.
* The pan had only ever been hand-washed with a soft sponge (never scrubbed), it was never heated without food on it to absorb the heat, and to my knowledge no metal has ever contacted the nonstick surface, even in the sink or drying rack.

I am sorry to report, as much as I loved purchasing this set, I use my frying pan daily, but mostly for eggs, I take such great care of it and now I really need a new one, everything is sticking and its harder and harder to clean it.So sad, less the a year and I need to buy a new one.
