The original Ove Glove pictured here is by far the best oven mitt I have ever owned. I have 4 and have been able to use and wash them without any drop in effectiveness. I have never been burned using them to take things from the oven or handling things on the stove. Everyone that uses them at my house asks for some, so I have given more than a dozen pairs out as gifts, to high acclaim. Be wary of copycat brands, though, not all Ove Gloves are created equal.

I bought my first Ove Glove 10 years ago; it is one of the best products around. Since trying out the product ourselves, I have bought them for my parents, sister and friends. The glove lets you get a good grip on your cookware, but also protects your entire hand. They are also great when grilling at high temperatures. It has become a necessary item in our household.

These gloves are great for camping, we take them all the time and they work just as well for the logs in the fire as they do for getting the cookware off the top of the campfire.

I had an Ov Glove that I'd about worn out but wanted a second so I could use both hands. I really like the old one and the new one with the "non-skid" material is OK but I never felt I was going to drop anything with the old one. It is a great invention and has replaced pot holders in our house. I think they are a little expensive but I am not complaining...it works and I like it.

I thought I was buying two of the all cream color soft heavy large Ove Gloves pictured at the right here (I owned one before that was a gift from someone & loved it) instead I received two thinner tight fitting Ove gloves with blue sticky stuff on the outside & have to use another pot holder with the Ove glove to hold my hot cookie sheet. :(
