I got this to compliment a set of pans also sold together and its great. Nothing sticks to it, and it is so easy to handwash...and I hate handwashing. It is a nice large size too for making big stir frys.

I received this pan and it looked like just what I was wanting without spending an extraordinary amount of money. Several things that I liked were............the sturdiness of it, an extra handle on the opposite side, and a top for the pan. It is a glass top and I accidently dropped it when taking it out of my cupboard and it fell a few inches. I was pleased to see that the glass lid didn't break. That seemed really special as I felt being glass that it would easily break. I've used it once for making meat sauce and it seemed to be just fine. I think it will be good but only the future will be the test.

I wanted a large frying pan for daily use. This pan was on the cheaper side so I was not sure how good it would be. It exceeded my expectations!!! The glass top/dome is awesome and well made. The coating in the pan is thick and very resistant to sticking. I can tell the pan will hold up for years to come.

I'm writing this review on the hopes that enough people buy this pan so that Mirro keeps making it and Amazon keeps carrying it. I bought this to replace my Dad's beloved discontinued T-Fal (or Tefal as we got it in France) and it's great. If you like something that can function smack dab between a sauce pan and a frying pan, this is for you. Large enough to saute something and then add a sauce, this allows you say to make a Bolognese pasta sauce without a huge amount of cleanup afterwards. We stick it in the dishwasher without a problem. The extra side handle comes in handy. I also like the fact that you can effectively cook something, move it to one side of the pan and then cook something else and finally combine the two. i.e. it does what you want a wok to do, provided you don't need the temps to go as high as you can get them to on a wok.

I bought this pan in November of '09 to replace a worn out one. I've used it quite a few times and I really like it, especially for making chili and spaghetti sauce. The weight is good, not too heavy. Nothing sticks, it lays flat on my smooth cook-top, and it cleans up easily.
