This could be a hand exerciser! It is much, much wider in it's relaxed state and takes some hand muscle to grip things. The vinyl feels rough and a bit cheap. I can deal with that especially for the price but the hand cramps make me want to use something else.

These are good for use on the grill or to simply keep your hands out of the "pan" on the stove. They are very long, so be sure you know where you'll store them as a normal drawer is probably too short.
