I was not happy at all with this mesh skillet. About 30 seconds after taking it out of the box, I had a metal splinter. I got two more within the next few minutes. Finally discovered that where the mesh attaches to the outer rim, the tips of the mesh were not filed or sanded or whatever.
The little latch that keeps the two sides closed did not spring out. This meant that I had to shove the latch in the left notch or right one, but this was not at all secure for keeping the skillet together.
Finally, the mechanism for attaching and detaching the handle is useless. You have to hold the skillet with one hand while pulling or pushing with all your strength on the handle while holding the button down. Impossible to attach the handle while the skillet is on the grill.

It was the perfect size and shape with the flippable feature we love for grilling shrimp and vegetables. The two-pronged handle was impossible to insert, so we tried inserting one prong and that allowed us to flip it on the grill. Good enough. When we reloaded it with another round of food, the locking mechanism for the two mesh baskets didn't lock anymore, as we figured the heat expanded it, so it no longer fit. I washed and scrubbed the food debris off the basket and it cleaned up easier than many other baskets we have had. It came out of the dishwasher rusty and no longer usable for food. This is a one-time use product. It had great promise but did not deliver. I'll see if I can return it.
