This spatula is very nice to work with. The handle is comfortable and although not very thick, it doesn't give me the impression that it will snap in half or break. It is unfinished wood, so it will lighten in color after a few washes and it will also be prone to stains, if you're not careful. So far, I have not had any staining, but I do wash and dry it immediately after using it. I bought all of the pieces to the Cassis tools and all of the handles match in wood tone perfectly. They are all very well made. The silicone end is very nice sized and thick. The rounded edge is nice because you can cleanly scrape the side of a bowl and the corner on the spatula will get into corners easily if using a square dish or pan. Very nice design. I am happy with the whole set.
